Biography

She married Maarten Baartman on 25 Jun 1758. Maarten was the son of Anna Margaretha Mollenhauer. He was born at Braak in Oldenburg, Germany. He died on 23 May 1787.

They had 9 children: Rachel Baartman, Anna Margaretha Baartman, Catharina Elisabeth Baartman, Maria Elizabeth Baartman, Elizabeth Jacoba Baartman, Marthinus Baartman, Maria Dorothea Baartman, Geertruida Deiderika Baartman and Carolina Petronella Baartman.
