Biography

Dora Agnes MacDonald was born on 23 Feb 1894 at Durban, Colony of Natal.

She was the daughter of Ronald Gladstone Macdonald.

She married John "Jack" Whipp on 18 Aug 1916 at St John's Church, Hampstead, Camden, England. John "Jack" was the son of William Whipp and Annie Maud Simpson. He was born on 26 Jul 1891 at Newcastle, Colony of Natal. He died on 26 May 1981 at the age of 89.

They had 4 children: Anne Margaret "Peggy" Whipp, Flora Marjorie Whipp, Mary "Little Lou" Whipp and John Whipp.

She died on 21 Dec 1995 at the age of 101.

She was buried in 1995 at Newcastle Old Cemetery, Newcastle, Natal, South Africa.
