Margaret Ann Low was born on 18 Sep 1932.

She was the daughter of John Hill Low and Lisette (Etta) Lavendar Dunbar Anderson.

She was also known as Peggy Low Low.

She married Ronald Gerard Maré on 5 Feb 1952 at Kempton Park, Germiston, Transvaal, South Africa. Ronald Gerard was the son of Hendrik Gerhardus Maré and Maria Aletta Susanna Botha. He was born on 1 Mar 1928. He died on 24 Jul 2005 at the age of 77.

They had 3 children: Lisette Lavendar Maré, Living and Living.

She died on 16 Jan 2019 at the age of 86.
