Catherine Euphemia Stalker was born on 16 May 1904 at Lodge, Pitmurohe, Lumphanan, Aberdeen, Scotland.

She was the daughter of Alexander Stalker and Jessie Robertson.

She was also known as Minnie Stalker Stalker.

She immigrated from Southampton to Cape Town in 1926.

She married Alexander Hill Low on 9 Nov 1926 at Cape Town, Cape, South Africa. Alexander Hill was the son of George Low and Annie Macallan. He was born about 1903 at Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. He died on 29 Jul 1967 at 6 Elons Court, 3rd Avenue/Main Street, Bulawayo, Southern Rhodesia.

They had one child: Dorothy Catherine Low.

She died on 14 Feb 1992 at Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa at the age of 87.
