Andrew Benjamin Forrest was born about 1859.

He was the son of John Forrest and Harriett Cath Cadle.

He married Emily Baytopp. Emily was the daughter of Abraham Baytopp and Emma Boyce. She died on 4 Mar 1940 at Pinetown, Natal, South Africa.

They had one child: Ethel Constance Forrest.
