Biography

He was the son of Thomas Brookshaw and Esther Elizabeth Openshaw.

He married Loveday Ann Geach. Loveday Ann was the daughter of Samuel Sampson Geach and Louisa Mary. She died on 2 Oct 1930 at Curry Street, Grahamstown, South Africa.

They had 2 children: Ethel Maud Brookshaw and Verna Loveday Brookshaw.

He died on 10 Jul 1899 at Coombs Vale Farm, Dion, Albany, Cape Colony.
