She married Alexander Anderson Sutherland Troup on 16 Jul 1887 at Coldwells, New Blyth, King Edward, Abefdeenshire, Scotland. Alexander Anderson Sutherland was the son of David Troup and Isabella Allardyce. He was born on 17 Jul 1858 at Broom, Rhynie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. He died on 18 May 1943 at 2 Seafield Drive, West Aberdeen, Scotland at the age of 84.

They had 3 children: Alexander Troup, Ann Isobel Troup and William Troup.

She died on 27 Jun 1933.

She was buried at Dyce United Free Church Cemetery, Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
