Alicia Euphemia Clendinning was born in 1892.

She was the daughter of Thomas Clendinning and Margaret Jane Kemp.

She married Alan Vere Allan on 2 Jun 1919 at St Paul's Church, Durban, Natal, South Africa. Alan Vere was the son of Thomas John Allan and Mary Vere. He was born on 5 Apr 1886. He died on 21 Jul 1952 at Ixopo, Natal, South Africa at the age of 66.

She died on 30 Apr 1976.

She was buried in 1976 at St John the Baptist Anglican Church Cemetery, Ixopo, Natal, South Africa.
