Isabella Potgieter was born on 26 Jun 1711 at Paarl, Drakenstein, Caap de Goede Hoop, Suid Afrika.

She married Philippe du Preez on 9 Mar 1727 at Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa. Philippe was the son of Philippe des Prez and Elisabeth Prévost. He was born on 4 Apr 1705. He died on 11 Dec 1765 at "Grootvadersbosch", Heidelberg, Caap de Goede Hoop, Suid Afrika at the age of 60.

They had one child: Elizabeth du Preez.

She died in 1758 at Mt Ayliff, Caap de Goede Hoop, Suid Afrika.
