Biography

Mary Ann Kean was born in 1875.

She was the daughter of John Kean and Caroline Ann Ashmore.

She married Arthur William Drake on 27 Oct 1897 at Pietermaritzburg, Natal, South Africa. Arthur William was the son of Spencer French Drake and Emma Eliza Gillitt. He was born on 20 Feb 1870. He died on 10 Oct 1932 at Durban South Africa at the age of 62.

They had 5 children: Wilfred Arthur Drake, Cyril French Drake, Herbert Arthur Drake, Phyllis Catherine Drake and Percy Ivan Arthur Drake.

She died on 24 Aug 1949 at Grey's Hospital, Pietermaritzburg, Natal, South Africa.
