Biography

Francis Henry Drake was born about 1863 at Sarnia, Colony of Natal.

He was the son of Spencer French Drake and Emma Eliza Gillitt.

He was also known as Frank Drake.

He married Agnes Jessie Treleven Munro on 2 Jan 1895 at St John's Church, Tongaat, Natal, South Africa. Agnes Jessie Treleven was the daughter of John Hamish Munro and Alice Elizabeth Thring. She was born on 15 Sep 1869 at Novar Farm, Tongaat, Colony of Natal. She died on 26 Feb 1917 at Addington Hospital, Durban, Natal, South Africa at the age of 47.

They had 5 children: Reginald Beresford Francis Drake, Vivian Arthur Drake, John Spencer Drake, Kathleen Alice Drake and Leslie Francis Drake.

His occupation was Caretaker Umlaas Waterworks (1896).

He died on 29 Jun 1935 at Pinetown, Natal, South Africa.
