Elizabeth Fourie was born on 4 Dec 1749 at Tulbagh, Cape of Good Hope.

She was the daughter of Louis Fourie and Susanna le Riche.

She was christened on 2 Apr 1752 at Tulbagh, Cape of Good Hope.

She married Philippus Rudolph Botha on 22 May 1770 at Paarl, Cape Province, South Africa. Philippus Rudolph was the son of Philipus Rudolphus Botha and Elizabeth du Preez. He was born on 22 Aug 1749 at Tulbagh, Breede River DC, Western Cape, South Africa. He died on 7 May 1796 at the age of 46.

They had one child: Elizabeth Francina Botha.

She died on 16 Mar 1825 at the age of 75.
