Biography

Louis Fourie was born about 1703 at Drakenstein, Cape, South Africa.

He was the son of Louis Fourie and Sussanna Cordier.

He married Susanna le Riche on 16 May 1728 at Drakenstein, Cape of Good Hope. Susanna was the daughter of Louis le Riche and Susanna Faucher. She was born in 1709. She died in 1788.

They had one child: Elizabeth Fourie.

He died in Sep 1767 at Doornboom, Heidelberg, Cape of Good Hope.

He was buried at Family Cemetery, Doornboom, Swellendam, Cape Town, South Africa.
