She married James Taylor on 25 Dec 1857 at Tyrie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. James was the son of James Taylor and Margaret Urquhart. He was born on 1 Jan 1836 at Monquhitter, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. He died on 13 Apr 1864 at Tyrie (New Pitsligo) Aberdeenshire, Scotland at the age of 28.

They had 2 children: James Taylor and Mary Ann Taylor.
