He married Margaret Diack on 29 Oct 1891 at Kemnay, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Margaret was the daughter of Peter Diack and Barbara Adam. She was born on 21 Sep 1857 at Forgue, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. She died in 1947.

They had one child: Peter Diack Taylor.

He died in 1941.
