George Philip Diack was born on 22 Jun 1866 at Old Meldrum (Cowgate), Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

He was the son of William Diack and Isabella Petrie.

He married Barbara Adam Diack on 7 Dec 1887 at Kemnay, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Barbara Adam was the daughter of Peter Diack and Barbara Adam. She was born on 2 May 1864 at Lochend, Kirton of Rayne, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. She died on 23 Dec 1933 at Kemnay, Aberdeenshire, Scotland at the age of 69.

They had 11 children: George Diack, Peter Adam Diack, Alexander John Diack, William Diack, Barbara Diack, James Ernest Diack, Ethel Barbara Diack, Albert Diack, Donald Diack, Alfred Diack and Arthur Diack.

He died on 8 Aug 1925 at Inverbervie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland at the age of 59.

He was buried at Kemnay Church Cemetery, Kemnay, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
