James Hunter Diack was born on 25 Jun 1890 at Kemnay, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
He was the son of James Adam Diack and Margaret Hunter.
He was also known as Jim Diack Diack.
He was educated at M. A., University of Aberdeen in 1912.
He was educated at B. Sc., University of Aberdeen in 1913.
His occupation was Professor of Physics, Wilson College, Bombay (1914).
He died on 16 May 1914 at Mahabalshwar, India at the age of 23.
He was buried on 17 May 1914 at Bombay, India.
