Biography

James Adam Diack was born on 21 Apr 1864 at Kemnay (Paradise Siding), Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

He was the son of Alexander Diack and Isabella Adam.

He was recorded in the census in 2 Apr 1871 at Rose Cottage, Kemnay, Scotland.

He married Margaret Hunter on 20 Aug 1889 at Newmachar Free Church, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Margaret was the daughter of James Hunter and Margaret Halliday Wyness. She was born on 7 Sep 1869 at Fyvie (Rothienorman), Aberdeenshire, Scotland. She died on 29 Jun 1944 at Kemnay (Benview), Aberdeenshire, Scotland at the age of 74.

They had 9 children: James Hunter Diack, Alexander Alfred Oliver Diack, Lilian Margaret Diack, John William Diack, Robert Thow Diack, Helen (Nellie) Shaw Diack, Angus Benjamin Diack, Hunter Diack and Isobel Wyness Diack.
