She was the daughter of Willem Izak Johannes Naude and Anna Christina Susanna Magdelena Goosen.

She married William Langford Lester Munro. William Langford Lester was the son of William Kenneth Martin Munro and Mary Emma Blossom Williams. He was born on 21 Nov 1943. He died on 12 Nov 2000 at 22 Saddle Road, Pinetown, Natal, South Africa at the age of 56.

They had one child: Living.
