Harold Douglas Impson was born on 19 Jun 1917.

He married Edna May Beggs on 19 Jul 1941 at Pinetown, Natal, South Africa. Edna May was the daughter of Robert Beggs and Georgina Gladstone Duncan. She was born on 23 May 1919. She died in 2000.

He died in 1978.
