Biography

He was the son of James Hastie and Catherine Hastie.

He married Colina Vallance on 29 Jun 1910 at St Giles, Edinburgh, Mid Lothian, Scotland. Colina was the daughter of Thomas Vallance and Helen Robina Davie. She died on 26 Jun 1934 at 94 South Bridge, Edinburgh, Mid Lothian, Scotland.
