She married Marcus William Bruce Moodie on 21 Apr 1947 at Old Fort Chapel, Old Fort Road, Durban, Natal, South Africa. Marcus William Bruce was the son of William George Pigot Moodie and Nellie Crawford Cameron. He was born on 1 Feb 1922. He died on 6 Apr 2015 at the age of 93.
