Biography

He was the son of John Otter Jackson and Sarah Gower.

He married Lillian Thorne Jeffkins on 14 Sep 1892 at Wesleyan Chapel, Stuartstown, Ixopo, Colony of Natal.

They had 5 children: Lauretta Sarah Gower Jackson, John Otter Jackson, Violet Amalia Jackson, Staley Nettleship Gower Jackson and Florence Maybel Jackson.

He died on 26 Apr 1915 at Gibeon, German South West Africa.

He was buried at Gibeon Station War Cemetery, South West Africa.
