She married Leonard Charles Whipp on 14 Jul 1934 at Wesley Church, Pretoria, Transvaal, South Africa. Leonard Charles was the son of Charles Samuel Whipp and Olive Lee Watson-Smart. He was born on 17 Jul 1908. He died on 28 Oct 1923 at St John's, Belgravia, Johannesburg, South Africa at the age of 15.
