Esther Frances Bullock was born on 25 Apr 1859 at Montgomery, Montgomeryshire, Wales.

She was the daughter of Pryce Bullock and Frances Griffiths.

She was also known as Hester Frances Bullock.

She married David McKenzie on 13 Dec 1884 at Forden, Welshpool, Montgomeryshire, Wales. David was the son of John McKenzie and Christina Ross. He was born on 4 May 1843 at Wick, Caithness, Scotland. He died on 27 Feb 1928 at Sapely Cottage, Chirbury, Forden, (Salop), Shropshire, England at the age of 84.
