Edward Watkins Woodhams was born on 6 Jun 1918.

He married Isabel Joyce Leroni on 26 Sep 1959 at Musgrave Road, Durban, Natal, South Africa. Isabel Joyce was the daughter of Horace Thomas Leroni-Stoten and Magdalena Robina Harker. She was born about 1920. She died on 4 Mar 2010 at Pinetown, kwa-Zulu-Natal, South Africa.

He died on 14 Apr 2003 at the age of 84.
