She married Alastair Ellis Diack. Alastair Ellis was the son of Lionel Ellis Diack and Dorothy Blakey. He was born on 23 Oct 1922. He died on 16 Oct 1952 at General Hospital, Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa at the age of 29.
