He married Pearl Kathleen Clack on 22 Sep 1943 at Pinner, Middlesex, England. Pearl Kathleen was the daughter of Leslie A Clack and Dorothy Agnes King. She was born on 30 Nov 1919 at Heybridge, Essex, England. She died on 20 Mar 2002 at Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England at the age of 82.
