She was the daughter of John Fotheringham.

She married John William Cameron on 28 Jan 1890 at Wesley Church, Queenstown, Cape Colony. John William was the son of John Allison Cameron and Charlotte Jane Fultcher. He was born on 29 Jan 1867.
