Janet Ross was born about 1803.

She was the daughter of Finlay Ross and Christian Munro.

She married John Munro on 9 Feb 1830 at Kilmuir-Easter, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland. He was born on 6 Jul 1805. He died on 11 Nov 1863 at Tullich, Kilmuir-Easter, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland at the age of 58.

They had 8 children: John Munro, Christina Munro, Isabella Munro, Finlay Munro, Catherine Munro, Ann Munro, Janet Munro and Alexander Munro.
