He was the son of Arie Lekkerwyn and Maria de Lanoy.

He was also known as Lecrevent.

He was also known as Nicolaas.

He married Anna Lijsbeth Gerrits on 15 Nov 1739 at Stellenbosch, Cape of Good Hope, South Africa. Anna Lijsbeth was the daughter of Caspar Geritsen and Elsie Speldenbergh. She died before 1747.

They had one child: Johanna Margaretha Leckerwijn.

He died before 1747.
