Joan Maureen Wallace was born on 4 Apr 1919.

She married John Douglas Whipp. John Douglas was the son of Charles Samuel Whipp and Olive Lee Watson-Smart. He was born on 11 Oct 1918. He died on 16 May 1999 at Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa at the age of 80.

She died on 18 Sep 2001 at the age of 82.
