Arnold Otto Kaiser was born on 29 Mar 1930 at Port Shepstone, Natal, South Africa.

He was the son of Freidrich August Otto Kaiser and Ella Anna Johanna Hohls.

He married Fay Sim on 22 Dec 1956 at Pinetown, Natal, South Africa. Fay was the daughter of George Stewart Sim and Muriel (Baby) Knowles. She was born on 19 Aug 1932 at Durban, Natal, South Africa. She died on 17 Apr 2024 at kwaZulu-Natal, South Africa at the age of 91.

They had 4 children: Living, Living, Living and Living.

He died on 17 Apr 2013 at Hillcrest, kwa-Zulu-Natal, South Africa at the age of 83.
