He married Dorothy Swift between Apr and Jun 1919 at Sheffield, Yorkshire, England. Dorothy was the daughter of Edwin Swift and Emily Belcher. She was born in 1892 at Ecclesall Bierlow, Yorkshire, England. She died on 10 Aug 1951.
