Biography

He married Johanna Magdalena Maria Fraenkel on 14 Nov 1865 at Schalkenbosch, Tulbagh, Cape Colony. Johanna Magdalena Maria was the daughter of Deiderich Heinrich Fraenkel and Dorothea Klasina Glaeser. She was born on 23 Feb 1842 at Colesberg, Cape of Good Hope. She died in 1884.

They had 3 children: Mabel Saxey, Cecil Saxey and Dora Saxey.
