Walter "Wally" Johannes Geyer was born on 4 Feb 1912.

He married Dorothy Catherine Low on 1 May 1971. Dorothy Catherine was the daughter of Alexander Hill Low and Catherine Euphemia Stalker. She was born on 27 Jun 1927. She died on 17 Jun 2016 at the age of 88.

He died on 17 Apr 1994 at the age of 82.
