She was also known as Katherine Lantman.

She married Henry Thring on 4 Feb 1861 at Wesleyan Chapel, Mount Prospect, Victoria, Colony of Natal. Henry was the son of Samuel Thring and Elizabeth Treleaven. He was born on 6 Jun 1836. He died on 14 Nov 1899 at Assegaai River, Piet Retief, Transvaal, South Africa at the age of 63.

They had 2 children: Emma Jane Thring and Henry Thring.

She died in 1867.
