Martha Jacoba du Plooij was born about 1861.

She married Rephadus Stephanus du Plooy on 20 May 1878 at Bloemfontein, Orange Free State. Rephadus Stephanus was the son of Leendert Hendriek du Plooy and Christina Johanna Hough. He was born on 6 Aug 1857.
