Robert Beggs was born about 1877.

He married Georgina Gladstone Duncan. Georgina Gladstone was the daughter of Robert Duncan and Isabella Sandilands. She was born about 1880 at Scotland. She died on 18 Sep 1950 at St Mary's Hospital, Marianhill, Natal, South Africa.

He was buried in 1955 at St Johns Church, Pinetown, Natal, South Africa.
