Biography

He married Helen Henderson on 18 Sep 1788 at South Leith, Midlothian, Scotland. Helen was the daughter of Alexander Henderson.

They had 5 children: Katharin Somerville, Robina Somervile, Helen Somervalle, Christian Somervill and Rabeccah Sommervaille.
