Edith Shirley Irons was born on 18 Oct 1928.

She was the daughter of John Moore Irons and Shirley Lily Fleming.

She married Alastair Dalkeith Ross-Munro on 28 Apr 1951 at St Gabriel's Church, Florida, South Africa. Alastair Dalkeith was the son of John Ross Munro and Edith Mary-Ann Smith. He was born on 12 Aug 1921. He died on 17 Dec 2009 at Olivedale, Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa at the age of 88.

They had 2 children: Living and Living.

She died on 11 Dec 1990 at 8 Conrad Street, Florida, Roodeport, at the age of 62.
