Gottfried Schwellengrebel was born on 9 May 1619 at Stettin, Duchy of Pomerania, Germany.
He was the son of Erdmann Swellengrebel and Regina Neveling.
He married Barbara Mietenwald on 13 Oct 1643 at Stettin, Nicolaikirche. She was born on 2 Aug 1609 at Stettin, Pommeren, Pruissen. She died on 24 Oct 1666 at Stettin, Pommeren, Pruissen at the age of 57.
They had 5 children: Regina Schwellengrebel, Elizabeth Schwellengrebel, Johannes Schwellengrebel, Georg Schwellengrebel and Dorothea Schwellengrebel.
He married Maria Tugendreich Fehlow on 29 Sep 1667 at Stettin. She died after 1703.
