Henry Grant was born on 24 Apr 1912 at Scotland.

He was the son of Alexander (Sandy) Grant and Margaret Anderson.

He married Maureen Joyce Rapson. She was born on 14 Aug 1919 at Alexandria Farm, Ladysmith, South Africa. She died on 16 Sep 2012 at Merrivale, Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Afruca at the age of 93.

They had 3 children: Ian Alexander Grant, Living and Living.

He died on 7 Aug 1987 at Sherwood Hospice, Durban at the age of 75.
