Biography

Andries Stresoo was born at Berlin, Germany.

He served in Verenigde Oostindische Compagnie (VOC) - Dutch East India Co. between Bet 4 Nov 1738 and 7 Dec 1746.

He married Catryn Beyer on 25 Nov 1753 at Cape Town, Cape of Good Hope. Catryn was the daughter of Johannes Jurgen (Hans) Beyer and Catryn Visser.

They had 4 children: Willem Streso, Maria Johanna Strëso, Frederick Jacobus Streso and Jan Andries Streso.

He died on 29 Dec 1762 at Cape of Good Hope.
