She married Allan Gibson Clendinning. Allan Gibson was the son of Thomas Gibson (Gibby) Clendinning and Phyllis Ada Schwegmann. He was born on 16 Feb 1949. He died on 19 Jan 2017 at Auckland, New Zealand at the age of 67.

They had 3 children: Living, Living and Living.
