He was also known as Willem Korsenaar.
He married Catharina Cruse. Catharina was the daughter of Hieronimus Cruse and Aletta (Aaltje) Elberts van Nieuwenhuys.
They had 5 children: Aletta Corsenaar, Barbara Corsenaar, Johanna Corsenaar, Willem Maurits Corsenaar and Johannes Hieronimus Corsenaar.
