Biography

He married Martha Maria Herholdt on 30 Apr 1786. Martha Maria was the daughter of Albrecht Johan(n) Hendrik (Heinrich) Herholdt and Johanna Sophia Greyling. She died on 8 Nov 1837.

They had 9 children: Hendrik Christiaan Blatt, Geertruida Johanna Blatt, Anna Dorothea Blatt, Johanna Petronella Blatt, Hendrik Christiaan Blatt, Johan Lourens Blatt, Maria Barendina Blatt, Elizabeth Paulina Blatt and Jan Daniel Blatt.
