Margaret Swann Watson Crossling was born on 13 Feb 1916.

She was the daughter of Cleveland Masterman Crossling and Ellen Eliza Hendry.

She married Bruce Meredith Munro on 6 Dec 1941 at St. John the Divine Anglican, Belgravia, Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa. Bruce Meredith was the son of James Davie (Jimmy) Munro and Lilian Kate Wayne. He was born on 7 Sep 1912. He died on 23 Oct 1976 at Wynberg, Cape Province, South Africa at the age of 64.

They had 3 children: Margaret Anne Munro, Colleen Elizabeth Munro and Living.

She died on 25 Mar 1986 at Wynberg, Cape, South Africa at the age of 70.
