She married Joel Daniel Herholdt on 15 May 1792. Joel Daniel was the son of Albrecht Johan(n) Hendrik (Heinrich) Herholdt and Johanna Sophia Greyling.
They had 7 children: Catharina Margaretha Herholdt, Albrecht Johannes Hendrik Herholdt, Johanna Margaretha Herholdt, Margaretha Hendrina Herholdt, Hendrik Christiaan Herholdt, Johanna Sophia Herholdt and Geertruy Catharina Herholdt.
