He married Elizabeth Agnes Margaret McMaster at Wood bridge, Thaba'Nchu, Orange Free State, South Africa. Elizabeth Agnes Margaret was the daughter of Colin Allison McMaster and Mary Ellen Cameron. She was born on 26 Dec 1901. She died on 27 May 1951 at Bethesda, Thaba'Nchu, Orange Free State, South Africa at the age of 49.

They had one child: Cecily Walker.
